Women’s Group Dublin 18 | Me Time – The Gentle Pause

‘Me Time’ – The Gentle Pause

A Weekly Women’s Evening Retreat in Dublin 18

Women’s Wellness Group for Rest, Creativity & Nervous System Reset

‘Me Time’ – The Gentle Pause is a small women’s evening wellness group in Dublin 18 designed to help women across South Dublin and North Wicklow reconnect with themselves through creativity, relaxation, nervous system rest, and protected personal time.

There’s something deeply comforting about having something already booked for yourself.

Especially something that isn’t:
another obligation,
another networking event,
another thing to achieve.

Just something quietly yours.

That’s exactly why I’m opening bookings now for the very first Me Time – The Gentle Pause group launching this September in Dublin 18.

Because I know what happens otherwise.

Summer flies by.
September arrives.
Life speeds up again.

The school runs return.
Work routines pick back up.
The evenings begin filling with responsibilities again.

And suddenly we find ourselves saying:

“I really need to do something for myself.”

This is your chance to put something nourishing in the diary before life gets busy again.

The same way people book holidays ahead of time, this is something gentle to look forward to.
Something you can budget for.
Organise around.
Protect in advance.

Something future-YOU will quietly thank you for!

Where This Group Came From

Recently, I realized I had slowly stopped doing the things that made me feel most like myself.

Not dramatically.
Not because I was unhappy.

Just gradually.

The sketching.
The journalling.
Reading a book for the pure joy of it.
Sitting quietly with a cup of tea and my own thoughts.

Life became very full.
Work.
Relationships.
Responsibilities.
Being “on” all the time.

And one evening during a Yoga Nidra class, a friend casually said:

“Sometimes I come here and don’t even do the class. I just lie on the mat because it’s the only hour nobody expects anything from me.”

Something about that landed deeply.

Because I realised:
women often have to sign up for something “productive” just to justify taking time for themselves.

A yoga class.
A workshop.
A course.
Something with an outcome.

But what many of us are actually craving is much simpler than that.

Quiet.
Space.
A nervous system exhale.
Time to reconnect with ourselves without needing to achieve anything.

So I created the thing I wished existed.

What Is ‘Me Time’ – The Gentle Pause?

A small, professionally facilitated 6-week women’s evening group in Dublin 18 for women who are craving:

  • uninterrupted quiet time
  • nervous system rest
  • creativity
  • gentle companionship
  • a pause from constant “doing”

This is not therapy.
It’s not a workshop.
It’s not another class to keep up with.

It’s a weekly evening that belongs to you.

What Happens Each Week?

The Landing (10–15 mins)

We begin with a gentle guided relaxation to help you leave the day behind and settle your nervous system.

No pressure.
No spotlight.
Just a soft transition out of “doing mode.”

The Hour of You (Approx. 60 mins)

This is your protected time.

Bring whatever nourishes you. We will be sitting or lying on the floor. So bring whatever helps you feel comfy!

  • Journal
  • Sketch
  • Knit or crochet
  • Read
  • Listen to music or a podcast
  • Colour
  • Daydream
  • Rest
  • Simply sit quietly with yourself
  • Bring your own mat/ yoga mat, throw, cushions, whatever helps you feel at home

You are free to exist without needing to explain yourself.

Some women will create.
Some will rest.
Some may do absolutely nothing at all.

All of it is welcome.

The Soft Return (10–15 mins)

We gently ground and close the evening so you leave feeling calmer, steadier, and more connected to yourself before returning home.

Who This Group Is For

This women’s wellness group in Dublin 18 is especially suited to women who:

  • feel mentally “on” all the time
  • miss their creativity
  • crave quiet companionship
  • need structured permission to prioritise themselves
  • feel guilty relaxing at home
  • want connection without social pressure
  • love personal growth but don’t want another heavy processing group

You do not need to be burnt out to deserve space.

You do not need to be struggling to need rest.

Sometimes you simply need somewhere to put your shoulders down for a while.

Women who join the September pilot and continue attending future blocks without taking a break will permanently keep their original founding-member rate, even as future pricing increases.

A quiet little thank you for helping create this community from the ground up.

Why Women Are Already Registering Early

Because once something is booked, it becomes real.

You stop trying to “find time.”
You start protecting it.

And there’s something deeply calming about knowing:

“Wednesday nights are mine.”

No scrambling in September.
No trying to squeeze yourself in around everyone else.

Just arriving into autumn already knowing you have one evening each week that belongs entirely to you.

A Different Kind of Women’s Group in South Dublin

Women searching for:

  • women’s groups in Dublin 18
  • self-care classes in South Dublin
  • evening wellness groups for women
  • relaxation classes in Dublin
  • creative wellbeing spaces
  • nervous system regulation workshops
  • mindfulness groups near Bray, Cabinteely, Foxrock or Sandyford

often tell me they were looking for something softer than a traditional workshop or therapy group.

That’s exactly what Me Time – The Gentle Pause was created to offer.

Spaces Are Intentionally Limited

To preserve the calm, intimate atmosphere of the room, spaces are strictly limited.

This is not designed to be a big busy class.

It’s designed to feel like a sanctuary.
