Me Time Group - Dublin Womens Group

Me Time Isn’t Selfish — It’s What You’ve Been Missing (A Women’s Group in South Dublin That Isn’t What You Think)

“I just need a bit of time for myself…”

You say it.

You think it.

You even plan it sometimes.

And then…

Life happens.

Work runs late.
Someone needs something.
You’re too tired.
You scroll instead.
The evening disappears.

And the thing you actually needed?

Never happens.

When Did You Stop Doing Things Just Because You Loved Them?

Not because they were productive.
Not because they helped anyone else.
Not because they were “useful.”

Just because you enjoyed them.

Sketching.

Reading.
Writing.
Painting.
Learning something new.
Sitting with a cup of tea without multitasking.

Most women I speak to don’t even know what they’d choose anymore.

Not because they don’t have interests…

But because they’ve been out of touch with that part of themselves for so long.

This Isn’t Another Women’s Circle

If you’ve ever looked up:

“women’s groups near me”
“women’s circle Dublin”
“something for myself Dublin”

You’ve probably come across:

• cacao circles
• yoga groups
• meditation evenings
• personal development workshops

And while those are beautiful…

That’s not what this is.

So What Is It?

This is a Me Time Group. Your Gentle Pause!

It runs in blocks of 6 weeks at a time, with a max of 8 – 15 women per group.

It will be 60 – 90mins per week of total YOU time!

A space where:

You don’t have to fix yourself.
You don’t have to share anything deeply personal.
You don’t have to “work on yourself.”

You just get to be a person again.

You get to do the things you love for a whole 60 -90mins every week! Sounds like heaven?

What Happens in the Group?

Each week, you come into a calm, welcoming space.

And instead of being told what to do…

You choose.

You might:

• bring a book you’ve been meaning to read
• journal or write
• sketch, doodle, create
• sit quietly and think or lay down guilt free for an hour!
• Listen to music on headphones
• reconnect with something you used to love

You might even bring your own throw, cushions, matt, tea, herbal tea, hot chocolate in your favourite mug… whatever brings you joy!

There’s no pressure.

No performance.

No expectation.

Just space.

Why This Matters More Than You Think

Research consistently shows that having time for yourself and engaging in enjoyable activities can:

• reduce stress
• improve mood
• support mental wellbeing
• increase sense of identity and self-worth

According to the Mental Health Foundation, regular self-care and social connection are key factors in maintaining emotional wellbeing.

But here’s the reality most women face:

You can know this…

And still not actually do it.

Because it’s very easy to put yourself last.

“I Don’t Even Know What I’d Do With Time to Myself…”

I hear this a lot.

And it’s not a problem.

It’s actually the starting point.

Because this group isn’t about having it all figured out.

It’s about remembering.

Who This Is For

This group is for women who:

• feel like life has become “all responsibility”
• are always doing things for other people
• feel a bit disconnected from themselves
• want something just for them (without pressure)
• are curious about reconnecting with their creative or personal side

You don’t need to be “good” at anything.

You don’t need to be outgoing.

You don’t need to commit to being a different version of yourself.

You just need to show up.

Why Women Love This Type of Space

Because it gives them something they didn’t realise they’d lost:

Time that feels like their own.

Not rushed.
Not scheduled around everyone else.
Not “productive.”

Just theirs.

This Isn’t About Becoming Someone New

It’s about coming back to who you were…

Before life got so full.

A Small Thought Before You Go

You don’t need more pressure.

You don’t need another thing to “work on.”

You might just need a space where…

For a couple of hours…

You get to be you again.
