So, lets look at some Astrology Clues, shall we?
Are you ready to find more happiness?
We are much more than just out Sun Sign, in Astrology. We are the Moon, Mars, Venus, Mercury and all the other planetary bodies too!
Did you know, if you were born at night time you are more likely to resonate more with your Moon Sign? So, if you are somebody who has always said… I don’t really feel like my Sun Sign, then this may be one of many reasons why!
So, what are we looking at here today… Astrology is a DEEP and complex subject which has its own language, but to keep it simple we are going to look at how knowing your Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus and Mars can affect the quality of life
1. YOUR SUN
The Sun Sign & House represents who you are
It’s our creative Life force and our vitality. It shows us what we need in this physical life to shine and how we express our Soul’s purpose and urge to be seen.
When our sun is below the horizon (meaning we are born at night), when it is in harsh aspect to other planets or when it is in one of the ‘Unseen’ or private houses like the 12th (Spiritual), 8th (Intimacy) or even the 4th (Home) we can often feel more private, less seen, or perhaps may even be a little shy.
When the sun is in some of the more loud and proud houses, like the 1st (House of Self) or 10th (Career and Public Reputation), it could mean you are meant to be seen in the world or perhaps you like the spot light a little more than others. This doesn’t mean you can’t shine in the world, it just means you need to explore your Sun sign and get to know what it needs to feel fulfilled.
To shine, feel fulfilled physically and to express your Soul energy, look to your Sun Sign (where the sun was when you were born/ Zodiac Sign) and the House it is in, to fully understand how to fully Shine in this lifetime!
2. YOUR MOON
Your Moon Sign & House represents our internal world
It’s our emotional world which waxes and wanes, is ever changing and can tell a lot about our mood inside. Our Moon sign shows us what we need to feel more emotionally secure, safe, nurtured and loved. It is how we Mother ourselves and how we were mothered.
Like the Sun (and all the other planets) how we express our moon will largely depend on its condition, aspects to it, the house it is in and also the element, polarity and mode… but let’s not get too far ahead of ourselves!!
When we look to the sign and house of our Moon we can see where we feel most at home in ourselves. For example, if your Moon is in Aquarius you might be a little more cool and detached emotionally, you might need a lot of freedom and have some quirky insights into the world. Perhaps it is in the 7th House of relationships, meaning you perhaps need to have a lot of personal freedom in your relationships with others and may even have an unconventional view of what relationships are!
3. YOUR MERCURY
Your Mercury Sign & House represents your communication style
It shows you what style your communication is. If it is an earth sign you learn practically and methodically, if in fire you learn by doing, in air you learn by reading, thinking, listening and if it is in water you are likely to learn through feeling, emotions and intuition.
Knowing the house tells you what area in life you are most comfortable chatting about (1st house of self, people talk about themselves a LOT!) and the sign will show you what you like to talk about… for example Gemini are social creatures and will have tons of random facts to keep you entertained, whereas a Sagittarius will have you discussing life, its meaning and purpose!
4. YOUR VENUS
Your Venus Sign & House represents your Love Language
It shows you what you desire, what you want, what you need to feel joy and how you go about getting that.
Venus shows us what we value, how we value ourselves, others and how we please our senses. Venus, because it is so well connected to relationships and love, also represents our Love Language and how and what we need to feel comforted and happy in life.
For example, If your Venus is in the 5th House, of fun and games, you are likely to desire playfulness, child like adventure, taking risks and creative activities be that alone or in relationship with others. If you have Venus in Capricorn, for example, perhaps you might enjoy alphabetizing your music library, color coding your library books or like to express yourself in ways that are practical and purposeful, helpful and responsible.
5. YOUR MARS
Your Mars Sign & House represents your Will, Courage, Passion and Action
It shows you what outlet you need to express your energy, your drive and where you most feel alive.
If, for example, you have Mars in Aries the chances are you love a good challenge and to feel alive you need to be in competition, leading a project or taking action in some way. The House it is in will show you where that expresses itself most. Perhaps it is in the 11th house of friendships, and so you feel most alive when competing with your peers or in group activities!
When you are not expressing your Mars energy, it can often become easily frustrated and this will show up quite obviously in your chart, according to the sign and house it is in. As Mars is all about action and passion, when we are not channeling that energy in a healthy way it can often lead to inflammation, health, frustrations and anger issues and even depression.
SUMMERY…
As you can imagine, the above are only as taster of what you can learn from a quick glance at your Astrology Chart. Essentially, knowing your own astrology helps you to not only understand yourself more but also helps you to understand those around you.
Know Thy Self, is an old saying and so true. We live in times where people are feeling more disconnected than ever. many are switched off from their natural intuition and instincts, they are unable to find the answer to their own questions and as a result often feel lost, lonely, confused and lacking in direction or fulfullment.
Each sign, house, and planet holds in it incredible depths of information. Depending on what area of life we are looking at, i.e. the lens we are looking at the planets through, we can drill further and further down to find out more information. Whether it is Life, Career, Relationships, Love or Health, Astrology holds the answers to so many of lifes questions.
