You Don’t Need Therapy — You Might Just Need Space
A Different Kind of Women’s Evening in South Dublin
As a Clinical Hypnotherapist and Psychotherapist, Reiki Practitioner, Psychological Astrologer and Life skills Coach in Dublin 18, I spend a lot of time helping women process, heal, untangle and grow.
But here’s something I’ve realised recently:
Not every woman who feels stretched needs therapy.
Some women just need space.
Uninterrupted.
Unstructured.
Unproductive space.
And surprisingly, that’s often harder to access than therapy itself.
The Pressure to “Work On Yourself”
There’s a strong self-development culture in South County Dublin and North Wicklow.
Yoga classes.
Workshops.
Courses.
Programmes.
And they’re wonderful.
But sometimes women tell me they feel tired of “working on themselves.”
They don’t want to process trauma.
They don’t want homework.
They don’t want to share in a circle.
They just want:
-
Quiet
-
Creativity
-
Nervous system reset
-
Gentle companionship
Without expectation.
The Nervous System Factor
When your day is full of conversations, decisions and responsibilities, your nervous system rarely fully settles.
Even in the evening, your brain is scanning:
What’s tomorrow?
Did I reply to that message?
Did I forget something?
It’s hard to drop into rest at home because home is associated with responsibility.
But when you enter a neutral, softly held space — your body registers safety differently.
That’s why structured pauses work.
Not because they’re dramatic.
But because they’re consistent.
A Different Kind of Evening for Women
That’s the thinking behind Me Time – The Gentle Pause.
A small 6-week women’s evening groups in South Dublin designed purely for:
-
Nervous system reset
-
Creative time
-
Gentle grounding
-
Quiet shared space
No pressure to share.
No targets.
No breakthroughs required.
Just 90 minutes that belong to you.
The next group will launch in the Dublin 18 / South County Dublin area, with potential expansion towards Bray and Greystones depending on interest.
You can read more about it here or register your interest to join the next groups by emailing me with subject: I’m interested in ‘Me Time’ – here
Maybe You Don’t Need to Fix Anything
Maybe nothing is “wrong.”
Maybe you’re just tired of never having uninterrupted time.
And maybe reclaiming one evening a week is enough.
